Merry Christmas! (I couldn't wait til after Thanksgiving, sorry.)

Do any of you do a children's element in your Christmas Eve services? I'm looking for a new idea. Last year, we did a bit where we ended up singing like Alvin & the chipmunks with our voices through effects and we talked to kids in the crowd. The year before  we did more of a melodrama with the room divided into sections and people doing sound effects as we told the Christmas Story.

I would love to hear any ideas you have done that worked well, It needs to be something impromptu not, rehearsing kids for a play etc. interactive is always preferred. I am also willing to share the ideas and scripts for what we have done the last 2 years.

Thank you,

Craig Wilson

"Shepherds Hear Amazing News" is an interactive story which might work for you.  Everyone works in their own personal space and they do motions, movements and facial expressions to fit the story.
