How do we raise kids who love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength?

Scripture admonishes us to do this.  What specific things are you doing in your ministry to help parents accomplish raising kids who love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength?

Start early and let them see your excitement for Jesus. Read Bible stories to them. Pray with them every night. Take them to church and Sunday school. Pray for your pastor and church leaders. Review Bible verses which can be found at ministry-to-children.com/easy-bible-verses. Daniellesplace.com is another wonderful site for lessons. The low yearly charge is worth it. Get involved in your church and make a positive difference.

In our ministry, we have a newsletter that we send our via email and the old-fashioned paper copy, where we let the parents know what their children are learning and how they can help cement the word into their young minds.  We also go over showing Christ's love in their parenting and in their money skills.

We partner with the counseling ministry to have a small parent conference once a year during our family day.  Our family day is a day where we provide different things that the parents can do with their children, different fun activities, and it allows the parents to let loose with their children. :)

In order to help build our parent's marriages we host a parent day out, where we "babysit" their children for a few hours while the parents go do something they want to do.  They absolutely look forward to this day and the kids love it and go home tired!  Extra bonus for the parents! :)

We try to concentrate on the parents and show them how much their children are watching them and relying on them to be strong in their devotion to GOD yet vulnerable with GOD in their weaknesses.
