Hey friends! I need to get some feedback about how you've heard of churches doing the game floor for Awana. The game time is an integral part of the program and we have a multi-use facility which means we cannot paint or tape down the game floor markings.

We are using a big game mat currently, but the church we're using it from isn't willing to part with it. Does anyone have a mat they're willing to discuss selling? What other solutions have you heard of?

Laura, a few churches have used it during the Sunday School with varying success.  If you would like to call me at Awana, I can help walk you through some of the pros and cons.  Ask for my assistant, Diane Garmany, and she can arrange a time for the phone call if you want.

@ Laura,

I have not used it in a Sunday School setting, but it wouldn't work in the recommended way. The only way it might work is if you used the handbooks as your base curriculum and had everyone go through at the same pace - but that is not how Awana was designed to be used.

Has anyone tried Awana during the Sunday school hour. I am considering this and need any comments or suggestions.

Did you know that Awana is reaching children around the world, and they have a new initiative to reach several thousands who may have never heard the gospel? My heart broke as I watched the video below...

There are children who need their basic physical needs met, as well as their spiritual need. As Awana works with various organizations, they can reach many for Jesus with this initiative. Partnerships are the key in any effective ministry. By working together, we can have a greater impact for the Kingdom of God. Are you willing to partner with Awana with your support through prayer and donations? Children are at risk of an eternity separated from God. By meeting basic needs and sharing Jesus with them, these children can have hope, a reason to smile. Won't you join Awana International in giving these children hope, giving them Jesus?

You can find out more about the Children at Risk initiative and how you can be a part by clicking here...
