CPC gives us ideas to keep ministry fresh for an entire year! This will be year 10 and the excitement is building for 2012. Only 4 more weeks!
I wholeheartedly agree with Tim's comment. I was introducd to CPC about 9 yrs ago and loved going ever since. The resources and workshops are the highlights of my CPC adventure. I encourage anyone in CM to give a try.
Hi, Dustin. Welcome to CMConnect! CPC12 in San Diego will be my 7th CPC (but not in a row). My church has usually financed my trip (except for two years when I dug into my savings and paid my own way).
I don't have a lot of experience with other conferences, but I know there are some excellent offerings out there. So why do I choose CPC over other conferences? I guess because it is the largest, most comprehensive conference dealing specifically with Children's Ministries. It's nearly everything under one roof (one resort?). When I am at CPC, I feel like I'm at a family reunion with hundreds of people who share my struggles and triumphs. Yes, it's a little expensive (especially the lodging!), but to borrow the old cliche, you do get what you pay for. I could go on and on (and on and on), but I'd encourage you to explore the CPC website, check out some blogs from people who have been to CPC, and then figure out how to attend. God bless you in your continued ministry.
I'm new to CMconnect and didn't realize this CPC conference is in my backyard; literally its 20 minutes away. I'm curious of why others choose this conference over others? Is it worth the cost? I'd love to be convinced why I shouldn't miss this years CPC conference. Thanks
