I always find it quite funny when I read my bible. God sometimes just has such a sense of humor. I have been really struggling with deciding what the next step for me is going to be. Do I go to a Christian college? Do I stay in Louisville? Its all so crazy sometimes. But for me, the biggest fight I seem to have with my parents is the money factor. Now, my family is well off. We don't a ton of money, but God has blessed us. They always talk about how Christian colleges are just so expensive and… Continue

Hey Friends,

I am back after a bit of a break from CMCONNECT and let me tell you I am so happy to be back into the swing of things.

So this past week was my 1st week at Elementary camp with the 3 through 5 graders from Southeast Christian and around the Kentuckian area and man o man was it a great week! The kids learned about the fruits of the spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patient, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control and it's so cool to see the kids… Continue

Today I have been spending a lot of time with the Lord, reading my Message bible. (The Message bible is a translation of the NIV Bible into our vernacular, which makes it WAY easier to understand) Starting last month, around New Years I decided that I needed to read the Bible or at least this verison of it from cover to cover. And I definately have put it off, with the over-used excuse of "I don't have time". But alas, as of late I have been digging in a lot more often and… Continue

So I have been thinking a lot lately on witnessing after the Post (the college-aged, 20 something ministry at Southeast Christian Church) and it really made me dig into what I am doing on a daily basis. As a worship leader, I have the opportunity to lead in the hundreds of kids every weekend at church. (Yes we do have like 2000 kids that come through our doors every weekend and I get to be apart of that!) BUT, as a swim team coach, I have the opportunity of witnessing to 60+ kids I see 4 days… Continue

Tonight we met as a ministry worship team, like we do every month. Due to my job, sometimes I have to miss out on these meetings and its a real shame that I do because I love the people that God has blessed me with within this amazing ministry. Tonight I guess was special because they put a lot of focus on us hosts. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, a "host" in our ministry is a person who is in charge of the service and helps to make sure that it runs smoothly. I am… Continue

Hey Scott,

Hello and Welcome! My name is Brent Weber and I'm a touring artist for Kids and Families writing fun and crazy music, as well as a Children's Pastor in Atlanta, Ga. I travel the country playing for kids worship events, Family events, camps, and love to just have a blast. I currently have 4 cds for kids (crazy songs and reverent rocking ones), and I'll have DVD sing alongs for Children's Leaders coming out in January. I'm very excited that Children's Leaders now have a chance to brainstorm off each other, as well as support and encourage one another.

I have a 'Group' labeled Roundtable Discussions with Uncle Charlie, and Yancy, designed to help encourage worship leaders of children., and a group called 'Stage Games Central' to help give everyone ideas of fun stage games they could use in their children's ministry. Check them out, leaders have posted some very helpful material!

BTW, Uncle Charlie is a great guy to call friend. He's one of my best buds, and is a blessing to all! Definitely check out his stuff, kids love it!

Again, I love to help and encourage people, so please feel free to let me know if there is anything I can do for you. May God Bless you and your ministry to Kids!

It's great to be in ministry with you.

I just wanted to stop by and encourage you to keep up the awesome work ministering to children!

You are needed!

My name is Jerry Moyer. I am a children's evangelist that travels across the United States & Canada ministering to children and families.

Our ministry is called The Jubilee Gang.

The Jubilee Gang is a fast paced multi-media ministry to children and families.

Our goals are to see as many men, women, boys, & girls born again as possible, to stir up believers to be all they can be for God, and teach them to reach out to the world around them with the Good News of the Gospel.

Our presentation is very entertaining, but we are 100% about ministry.

If we can ever be of any service to you or you need anything please feel free to contact me.

God Bless You!

Hey Scott,
Welcome aboard!
My name is Charlie Bancroft (Uncle Charlie). I live in Tampa, FL.
I do kids worship - that's what I'm about. We do family concerts, record kids worship CD's, and have created the kids worship series, Made 2 Praise, in order to provide worship tools to lead kids worship in the local church.

If kids worship is something you are interested in, I'm here to help! You are welcome to check out my page, sample my videos and/or songs, and join my group, "Get Your Kids Excited About Worship". You can also sample all of my songs, visuals, etc. on my web site at

I created another group just to give encouragement to workers like you who work in the trenches. Encouragement is my gift, and while I am recovering from a near fatal accident, I am trying to use that gift to minister to my "reading audience", at least until I can get back on stage for live audiences again! The group is called "Be Encouraged Today". When you get a chance, read my two posts, the "Eagle" analogy and "Keep Singing Your Song" and hopefully you will find some inspiration there!

If you happen to be leading kids worship in your church, I have teamed with two of my dear music friends in children's ministry, Brent Weber and Yancy, to form a group called "Worship Leaders Roundtable". There are lots of great discussions and ideas for you on there!

If there is anything else I can help you with, don't hesitate to ask.
Enjoy the site! I hope you make a lot of friends and contacts!
God Bless!
Uncle Charlie

You have to buy a book called "Strengths Finder 2.0" by Tom Rath. It is available in our Resources Center. nce you buy the book, you take the online test using the code. Make sure you get a new copy. It scores you on your Strengths and creates a complete profile of what makes you a strong person.
It is great stuff... part of the leadership culture at our church too.

Hey, and by the way... i think you are great.
