Hi Dava,

Have you seen Keith Tusing’s blog post re Online Kids?  http://cmconnect.org/profiles/blogs/the-online-life-of-kids-1

Metaphorically speaking, kids media time is a vast remote world with millions of K-6 inhabitants.  And video game playtime is a large part of this media world.  This is precisely what led us to create BIG Bible Town.  Extending the metaphor, we are trying to follow the Great Commission by using a Bible-based game to reach this “nation” i.e. the media world where the majority of today's kids reside at least a few hours every day.

I hope you will visit our group http://cmconnect.org/group/bigbibletown and see how together we can tap into kids video game playtime to keep them connected to God's Word at home.....AND  produce real world mission ourcomes.

Hi Dava! We have a group called Stage Craze that I think would be of GREAT use to you with your questions. We would love to help you as much as possible create a fun, funky environment for your kiddos! See if that forum helps and then let us know your budget, etc.

Good morning Dava. I can certainly provide the vinyl backdrop for you but they can print florescent colors on the vinyl. as they don't have the ink to do that. The florescent colors are flat in order to provide the "shine". Also, cutting out a puppet access hole in the vinyl, it would need to have a frame in back to support the vinyl, otherwise, the bottom edge of the hole would sag, as that is the nature of vinyl. I can provide the vinyl at $3 a sq. ft., but with what you want to achieve, you may want to build some flats out of Luan (Pretty cheap at Lowe's or Home Depot) and frame the flats with 2x2's or 2x4's and then paint them black.cut your puppet holes and hinge some "doors" over the puppet holes and paint them a florescent color. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Blessings!

Hi Dava, I am responding to your question about the video backdrops cost. If you go to our site www.awesomevideostuff.com you can see all the demos for the Children's Pastor's Toolbox or the Drama Tool Kit which contains the backdrops. RIght now is an excellent time to buy during our 50% off sale on any bundle. I see you are looking for an easy way to play your videos on screen. The Awesome Stadium FX has a video player that is 1/3 the price of media shout and 1/5 the price of Pro presenter and is faster and easier to use than both of them. Check it out. We have been Children's Pastors and Evangelists for over 30 years. We make all the stuff we have always wanted as a children's Pastor but nobody ever made for us- so we made the products for all of you CP's out there.
