What's it mean to be a W.I.E.R.D

Posted on August 20, 2011 at 3:57pm 0 Comments

We just finished our summer series with our kids called "Diary of a weird kid". IT stirred up what it means to stick out from this world. When you walk out the life Christ has predestined for His kids you are bound to be seen as "weird" in the eyes of this world. And especially lately being "weird" in Christ is more important than ever!!!

WE broke down the letters of WEIRD to teach on each week. Week one was the letter "R".

Josh & Kate,
Good talking with you yesterday. We'll have to talk again soon. BTW it's "Tranforming Children into Spiritual Champions: Why children should be your church's #1 priority" by George Barna, Regal Books, 2003
God Bless, -Rob

Purpose - outreach, challenge kids to bring their friends, for each friend you bring we enter you and that friend in a drawing to be slimed together. more friends you bring greater your chances and you can get slimed more than once.
Making it - water, cornstarch, and food coloring.
Buying it - buckets-o-fun.com

Hello, My name is Dava. Our church burned a few years ago and now we have rebuilt our building and in the process of decorating our children's room. I noticed your background/drop and love it. That is what I am looking for. I wanted something that had no theme or houses or the basics AND LOVE YOUR ROOM. I do not want to copy it but love how it is done. Is there any way I can see more pictures and how you actually did it? I am more of a contemporary children's pastor and want things that are hip and in style and love your decorations. Please send email to hopr10@yahoo.com Thank you so much

Hi Josh and Kate,

Great vision, great speaker. What form of transportation do you use? What are some of your most effective fundraisers? I am sure I'll have some more questions!

Thanks!

Hey Josh and Kate - Why don't you go ahead and send me a Kids Kamp packet. A few quick questions: What is the total cost for the week? How many other churches participate? Anticipated attendance? Thanks!

Hey Josh!
If you are interested in a new Spirit-Filled mid week kids club, Kidz Xplosion will be available to churches in January. The website is www.kidzxplosion.org.
I am a CP and KX is something our kids and parents love. It is different in the fact that we give parents to help them be the spiritual leader in their home!
