Elementary Small Groups in 3D

At 12Stone Church we often get asked, “How do you organize your elementary small groups?” Throughout our services we transition between large group & small groups at various times to discuss the Bible Story and maintain interaction within the groups. We want our small group to be 3D:

DO – This is our hands-on element. Our small groups make discoveries together, they learn truth together. The activities vary from week to week but the value is that they “do” something. It involves… Continue

Jesus responds at the Court of Salvation

Jesus responds at the Court of Salvation

Heavenly Father;

It's really quite simple...

Just as the majority

of those who incorrectly claim

the precious blood of your Son

This defendant...

has never ever had the Correct Faith

in the three that testify in the earth

has never been Reborn of the WATER

is still carrying their sins

As… Continue

VBS Variety

We hit an impasse this year. We ran out of rooms, tables and charis for VBS. We are thinking about providing a morning and an evening VBS on the same week this summer. I am sure someone else has done this before...If you have some thougths on this or other ways to make room other than having 3 weeks of VBS over the summer, please let me know. I would appreciate it!

The Little Things

Experiences happen every day that can teach us valuable lessons. As children’s ministers we are trained to find those “teachable moments.” What about the moments God provides for us each day? Sometimes we are so focused on leading, teaching, and imparting wisdom to others, we don’t see what God is trying to show us about our own lives. I certainly have lots of room to grow in all areas. What about you?

I want to share an experience that happened during Christmas. My husband and… Continue

Ministering to Hurting Children in the Kingdom

For those of us that work with hurting children, another year has come to pass and hopefully we have made a difference. I have been thinking about the children the Lord has placed in my path to minister to this past year. There were some happy and joyful times and there were some very sad and difficult times. I think about the children whose mom committed suicide and the kids whose dad died in an auto accident. I also think about the children of divorce. There were so many of them.

I… Continue
